Writing this colum at past midnight before retiring to bed. Afternoon passed in accompanying my son to FIITJEE. Nobody was available today to get company, Mr P K Das today went to some place, Mr Mukherjee didn't came.
It's hard to change myself, refresh my thinking, revitalise with abundant energy. OK, I will try without thinking of any gain, just with a motive of being positive in all aspects.

At Rabindrasadan Premise
Young generation dominating the terrace was found bursting out out of joy celebrating their lively youth. Are they enjoying their time or killing time failing to reach their goal. Girls and boys alike puffing cigarette, cracking joke, showing attitude dismissing their surroundings. All those are treat to watch.
Myself along with my FIITJEE companions passing time was among ourselves calculating financial gaining at our respective working places. What contrast it was with respect to all those guys who didn't have entered into their real life as yet.

No much trading
Stopped trading so far. But, interested to start selective trading. Before going to that, I have earmarked one DMAT account and closed all others to focus singularly with a the objective of better management of surplus fund. Hope, this time I would have better peace of luck.

Last few day's trades
As usual, traded most of the last few days with favorite stocks SBIN and JPASSOCIAT. Most of the times my entry point was right. But, failed to capture maximum gain due to lack of patience, weak strategy and sometimes due to too much market volatility.
Such trading won't fetch any substantial gain from the market. After so many years, I am still short of acquiring that master art of dominating the market.
Still, I do hope, no sooner than later, I would start to make profit reasonably and frequently.

Today's trade
Market opened with weak note. Initially thought Market would not go down any more and recover subsequently. Firstly, traded long with SBIN and then looking some profit booking tendency traded with JPASSOCIAT.
- SBIN: Entry point ( 2435) was good. Captured some gain before coming out of this trade at 2444 seeing some profit booking tendency. If I could have reversed my trade and taken short position, trade would have been more successful.
- JPASSOCIAT: Took position after some time and assessed better market sentiment. Took short position at 267.95 and squared off at 264. It was satisfactory trade. Last three day's gain was worth for profit booking. Weak market sentiment helped the matter.

My new post after long time.
Please forgive me for staying in oblivion. In the meanwhile, I was always with the share market, but, with some casual attitude. As if , I am destined to stay with Market by hook or crook.
Today, I have traded with SBIN & JPASSOCIAT.
SBIN: Entry made at 2485 and it went to 2499, but hoping to gain more, I had to accept loss. This day was for profit booking. Should have been realised earlier.
JPASSOCIAT: Entry made at down turn at 262.95, expecting it would bounce back and cross 265 convincingly. But, the case was same like SBIN. This script also followed the same way like "booking of profit". Later on, it recovered and went past 265 against the market sentiment.

My experience in share market
To sustain in share market one must remain tough mentally. Should always remain consistant strategically. Taking position or not is another factor should be taken into account rigorously. Taking some rest for few days may help a trader to come up afresh after a string of bad losses. Taking every loss into sride sportingly is most challenging in this market. Going euphoric after some gain should not be allowed at all before initiating next trade.
For next few days going Sikkim alongwith my family, I'll remain completely off from share market. Hope, join everybody on 13th or 14th October. Bye........

My Experience on 8th August' 2008
Trading with INFOSYSTCH: Observed trading with negative bias. But, market was overall flatish. So, although taken bearish position, could not make profit due to market whipsaws.
- Observation 1: If market remains flatish, entry should be made as close as support or resistance level with thin stoploss.
- Observation 2: Bearish position will be most profitable if entry may be made at the sight of short reversal.
- Mistake 1: Could not visualise the market behaviour which was flatish for the day.
- Mistake 2: Srip was originally bullish. So, before taking bearish view, all type of technical confirmations were needed.
- Mistake 3: Multiple trading on any scrip should be avoided.
Track the following stocks
Bullish: ABB, ACC, BHARTIARTL, BHEL, HDFCBANK, MARUTI, TATACHEM, SUNPHARMA, SBIN, INFOSYSTCH
Bearish: TATASTEEL, STER, RPL, RELIANCE, RCOM, RANBAXY, PATNI, NAGARCONST, INDHOTEL, IDFC.
Bearish: TATASTEEL, STER, RPL, RELIANCE, RCOM, RANBAXY, PATNI, NAGARCONST, INDHOTEL, IDFC.

My Experience on 24th July' 2008
Trade No - 1 : Taken bearish view looking at all through negative bias of Share market. IT Sector was negative and INFOSYSTCH broke 1500 also. Went short at 1526 (avg) viewing the scrip at pullback rally. But, it made turnaround. Stoploss should have been immediately above 1530.
But, I waited for 1540 for final stoploss and incurred unnecessary losses in this trade.
But, I waited for 1540 for final stoploss and incurred unnecessary losses in this trade.
- Mistake (1) : Should have been waited for breaking 1505 again before taking/ increasing short position.
- Mistake (2) : Stoploss must have been at 1530.
- Mistake (3) : Should have reversed the trade and bullish position was not assessed.
Trade No - 2 : Changed the scrip and took bulish position on TCS due to immediate turnaround of IT Sector. When TCS crosses 806, wated for pullback and went long at 805. But, it didn't sustain there and broke 800 twice and stopped me out resulting further loss today.
- Mistake (1) : Script should not have been changed. If sector remaining same, bullish position should have been taken on INFOSYSTCH, because it was being traded with lesser negative bias today.
- Mistake (2) : Position should have been taken either as close as the stoploss point (800) or after the script crossing 808 comvincingly with maintaining stoploss below 808.
- Mistake (3) : Today was day for bears only. Trade should have been focussed on with bearish view.

My experience with share market
- Assessed first overall situation that was extremely bullish. All bank stocks were being traded with heavily loaded positive bias. Betted on SBIN hoping it to move further. Took bullish position with putting stoploss at day's low point. That was my final stoploss. Generally, I bring stoploss point closer looking at the market situation. Today, I reached my profit point set at 20 points higher than my entry point. But, in this case I failed to grab profit opportunity of another 20 points at least. Entry point: 1248, Stoploss: 1229, Profit point: 1270. Stock finally climbed to 1309.
- RCOM was another stock traded today. Betted on Call Option at strike price of 420. There was profit opportunity, but could not maximise it due to fear of loss that should be taken care of in future before taking position. Entry point: 17, Stoploss: 14, Profit point: 34. But, squared off at 22 observing some weakness of the stock during mid hours of the trading session. Call option reached 35 at the final hours of the session.

My Experience
Obtaining success in trading equity or commodity market a lot subjects to strict discipline equivalent to that shown by the great saint of mankind. Strategy comes later to optimise the success. Stoicism should come naturally to a trader to survive in this market. Situation becomes more hard if one tries to sustain with not so heavy amount of fund.
Today I will bet on RCOM, INFOSYS & SBI and share my experience here in this blog later.
